WhatsApp Messenger is a cross-platform mobile messaging app which allows you to exchange messages without having to pay for SMS. WhatsApp finally released WhatsApp Web. This means you now have the ability to use WhatsApp on your web browser. Your messages and conversations will synchronize with your mobile WhatsApp Messenger.
WhatsApp Web is easy to set up and use. To Start using WhatsApp Web you need to have the Google chrome, mozilla or opera mini browser on your computer and the latest version of WhatsApp Messenger on your device. Unfortunately, WhatsApp web client is not available for iOS users due to Apple platform limitation.
Set Up
Download Google Chrome/mozilla/opera mini on your computer(PC/Mac).
Get the latest version of your Mobile WhatsApp Messenger.
Using your browser, Visit https://web.whatsapp.com/. A QR code will appear on the screen as seen in the illustration above.
On your phone, launch the WhatsApp App and tap on the menu button.
From the options, select WhatsApp Web. A QR code scanner will pop up.
Scan The QR code displayed on the Chrome browser and you are done.
Remember to check the 'keep me signed in' button so you don't have to scan a new QR code everytime you want to use WhatsApp Web on the computer.
Note
WhatsApp Web relies on the WhatsApp app on your phone to send and receive messages, therefore your phone has to be connected to the internet in order to use WhatsApp Web.
Your mobile phone battery must be kept charged. If your phone is out of battery, you are out of luck!
